Manager, General Sales Arrow Electronics, In Solon, OH Presently, we have an opening for a General Sales Manager in our Solon, OH location. As a General Sales Manager you will be responsible for all planning, directing, and executing of sales strategy for our Solon, OH market. As a leader, you will perform these functions within the context of Arrow's objectives, policies and procedures. This position reports to a Regional Vice President. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: - Ability to size and scope priorities in the market, understand competitive advantages and disadvantages and deploy resources accordingly.
Align strategic direction for business for assigned territory to company goals and customer needs to build a rigorous business culture. Work in partnership with Business Segment Leaders to formulates initiatives and programs that drive the local market success. Leverages multiple disciplines of supply chain, manufacturing processes, programming, tools and resources, and engineering concepts for the success. Leads, motivates and develop a diversified sales and support team that supports Arrow's value proposition to customers and suppliers and vertical market strategies in local market. Build succession plan for future state. Make decisions on operations including sales effectiveness, working capital that supports company goals on financial targets by leveraging appropriate support functions. Fully embraces the mission of owning the City Market Develop and maintain level relationships with customers and suppliers to create opportunities for the business. Build and maintain collaborative cross-functional relationships with support groups to engage business in best in class practices and programs that serve the VOC and VOS.
