Job Details:

  • This is an on-call position filling in during staff vacancy. Position is located at St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. Independently reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems. Contacts MD's nurses and other professionals as necessary to facilitate care. Manages drug therapy protocols as part of physician-pharmacist-nurse team. Compounds and dispenses medications, provides drug and drug therapy related information and supervises the work of pharmacy support personnel. Additional duties may be assigned by Director as determined by need. Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Montana is required. Prior hospital pharmacy / residency experience is preferred.
