PROCESS ENGINEER: The Albrecht Group

NOTE: This position is located in Western Michigan only!

My client, a manufacturer, located in the vicinity of Battle Creek , Michigan is seeking an experienced Process Engineer that is Six Sigma Certified (preferably Black Belt).

Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and maintain methods, operation sequences and processes for the assembly of sub-assemblies and finished products
• Lead lean/continuous improvement activities for the department
• Maximize process through put through Process Capability initiatives, Equipment Procurement/Validation, Problem Solving and Scrap rework analysis
• Develop and maintain products and processes such as assembly procedures, fixturing, process validation, routing, problem solving and service requirements
• Work closely with Quality Assurance in resolving products issues
• Provide development and guidance for assigned subordinate
• Develop and conduct performance appraisals as required

Requirements:

• BSME, BSEE, BSIE
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
• Process validation experience
• Supervisory experience
• Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical problem solving skills
