DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Professional Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting DEY products in a prescribed manner to Primary Care Physicians, Pulmonologist, Pediatricians, Allergists and Pharmacists.
- Conducts sales discussions consistent with the Pharmaceutical Guidelines
- Completes required call plan objectives
- Understands and demonstrates targeting principles
- Develops pre-call planning strategy for key targets
- Develops positive and interactive relationships with peers, customers, and Company managers
- Has in-depth knowledge of the Respiratory System
- Provides effective "Lunch-N-Learn" programs
- Uses innovative methods to solve problems quickly and uses good judgment
- Gathers and utilizes information from DEY sales and call reports, customers and others to develop and implement specific strategies for territory Prescribers
- Understands and presents scientific papers to customers

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Ability to meet or exceed the core competencies of a Professional Sales Representative in the areas of product knowledge, business development, territory management and analysis.
- Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the products to customers.
- Works well on teams as demonstrated by sharing ideas and practices that have been effective in meeting goals.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience, plus 2 years of outside sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
