Associate Online Advertising Manager needed at Ubisoft!



Ubisoft , a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Associate Online Advertising Manager. The ideal candidate should have experience working in online media. This person will manage the development, implementation and complete coordination of multiple online advertising campaigns targeting core, casual and kids. The ideal candidate will have an expertise in campaign reporting/ad servers and identifying campaign efficiencies. This position will work in a team atmosphere along side other members of the online marketing group as well as the offline advertising and promotions teams. It is a fast-paced and demanding environment and, as such, strong project management and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the effectiveness of online advertising campaigns based on ad serving data and past performance benchmarks
    • Manage optimization log
    • Review click through and conversion metrics on a daily basis to ensure campaign success
    • Leverage Excel or Access-based reporting tool to quantitatively measure ROI
    • Aggregate mid and post campaign reporting data and provide insight into key learnings and trends
  • Coordinate evolving advertising initiatives with publisher sites
    • Shifting advertising inventory when requested by Online Advertising Manager based on sliding release dates
    • Investigate new advertising opportunities for partner sites
    • Research new advertising channels and provide the first level of interaction with prospective publishing partners
    • Review online media landscape on a daily basis to determine which sites are gaining and which are losing market share
  • Manage aspects of media planning, scheduling, and buying for assigned campaigns
  • Research websites and creative technologies that utilize emerging technologies pertinent to our objectives.
  • Manage relationships with key online vendors. Establish positive day to day collaboration with these companies
  • Ensure all media placements are running and being tracked by the 3rd party ad server. Monitor delivery levels for placements. Responsible for post-campaign reconciliation in order to ensure accurate media delivery be vendors. Make sure proper payments are made and credits applied.
  • Collaborate regularly with Digital Marketing web production to insure correct outline of assets on web creative brief, as well as timely delivery of advertising creative

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years online media experience
  • Solid experience with 3rd Party Ad Servers, web tracking tools and email tracking tools.
  • Ad agency experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, highly charged environment. Must be very organized and pay special attention to detail.
  • Is strong in presenting information effectively and professionally.
  • Must be a very strong communicator with internal teams and external vendors. Has a team mentality; works effectively with brand marketing teams and other internal cross functional teams to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations effectively. Maintain a sense of composure and credibility that reflects well on Ubisoft. Resolve conflicts with ease and poise.
  • Strong entertainment and gaming background/knowledge a plus
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Marketing or Communications required
