Counter Sales/Driver - Airgas MidAmerica - Hopkinsville, KY

Airgas Mid America, Inc., a subsidiary of Airgas, Inc., a leading distributor of industrial, medical, & specialty gases & welding supplies, is seeking a motivated individual to work counter sales and perform back-up driving duties to join our Hopkinsville, KY team.

Position Summary
This position will be responsible for inside sales duties and making local and hot shot deliveries. The inside sales position will sell industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding equipment and hardgoods and tools to customers. This person will also respond to inquiries or concerns from either walk-in customers or those customers that call-in, restock store merchandise, stay current on product knowledge and various other duties as needed around the branch. A back-up route driver drives a Class B truck loaded with compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders and hardgoods and will deliver products to businesses, industrial, and medical gas customers on a scheduled route or intermittently for hot shot deliveries.

Qualified candidate must have:
• 1 Year Driving Experience
• CDL B w/ Hazmat & air brake
• Clean MVR / driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records
• Previous Customer Service Experience a plus
