General Summary: Interpret, compound, formulate and monitor all physician prescriptions; provide the best possible drug therapy to Sisters of Providence Home Infusion patients under the highest of professional standards. Sisters of Providence Home Infusion provides intravenous medications, infusions and nursing care to outpatients and home patients on a twenty-four hour basis. The pharmacist works closely with nurses and physicians to assure that patients are receiving quality care that is delivered in a safe and efficient manner. This requires specific knowledge in compounding, dosing and administration of intravenous solutions.
Required: Currently licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in good standing by the State of Oregon. Minimum 2 years experience in hospital IV pharmacy practice.
Shift: Rotating/Variable Shift.
