Scottrade, Inc., has an IT Asset Manager position available in St. Louis, MO. The main purpose of this position is to supervise the IT Asset Management Department, and establish , communicate and enforce enterprise wide policies and procedures for management of the IT asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Asset Management technician team (25%).
  • Oversee receipt, storage, shipping and disposal of IT assets (20%).
  • Work with application support team to improve and refine the IT asset repository and discovery tools. (15%).
  • Establish and implement ongoing IT asset inventory (10%).
  • Work with vendor management team to track delivery of orders, and reconciliation of purchase orders to bill of materials and invoice/lease schedules. (10%).
  • Work with business and IT infrastructure teams to define IT asset standards and tracking methods for various asset types (5%).
  • Work with vendor management department to track software licenses tied to hardware (5%).
  • Work with vendor management department to track maintanance and support contracts for hardware. (5%).
  • Work with infrastructure teams to define policies and procedures for installs, moves, adds, changes and RMA's for each asset type. (5%).

Experience:

  • 5+ years IT asset management experience in a large, distributed IT environment.
  • 2-5 years management experience in an IT help desk or or asset management department.
  • 2-5 years experience with inventory control.

Education:

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
