| | |  |  | Phlebotomy Supervisor Phoenix, AZ Job Description : This position is a full-time, salaried position overseeing multiple phlebotomists located in both client office and patient service center locations throughout a pre-determined geographical territory located in the Phoenix metropolitan area. - This position is responsible for directing workflow, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance, coaching and mentoring employees, training, reporting and customer service.
- Qualified candidates must have previous experience supervising phlebotomists/lab personnel in a high volume environment and must be able to provide hands on training drawing all patient ages.
- Candidates must possess strong communication skills, comprehensive management experience and must be able to work with a variety of computer systems.
- Requires real life experience drawing all patient ages and supervisory experience over phlebotomists to ensure a strong knowledge of the specific challenges that face our patient service technicians in a busy environment.
- Will work directly with sales and service and is required to act as a bridge between operations and service. Strong self-motivation, personal efficiency and organizational skills a must. Ability to think independently while ensuring compliance of company policies and procedures required. Previous experience overseeing multiple phlebotomists a must!
Job Requirements : A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred w/1-3 years of experience in related field in phlebotomy (including geriatric and pediatric). Phlebotomy certification by an accredited agency, completion of an approved phlebotomy training course, or equivalent experience through previous employment. Must meet all state and local requirements. Normally requires a Valid Driver’s License along with a clean driving record. |
