Assistant Controller opportunity with reputed mid size company



Job Description

Provide assistance to the controller for the analysis of accounts , EDI mapping , monitoring and trouble shooting: daily, weekly and monthly reporting to sales department and executive management: inventory analysis, forecasting and planning: credit card expense monitoring: insurance reporting; sales and use tax return preparation; property tax return preparation; other projects as assigned by Controller or VP of Finance.

Job requirements

Knowledge and experience of data bases and report writing software (Crystal Reports)

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in EDI mapping , tracking, trouble shooting.

Educational and experience background to demonstrate knowledge of forecasting and analytical methods

  • CPA or CMA preferred, but a person on track to obtain a professional certification required at minimum.
  • Experienced and knowledge in sales taxes, property taxes, property and product liability insurance.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • 2 to 4 years of related work experience
  • Travel less than 5%
  • Pass credit and background checks
