OFFICE MANAGER
RALEIGH BRANCH OFFICE
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To manage branch or satellite office, with three (3) or more employees, according to Company standards.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Office operations
- Hire adequate staff with assistance of Human Resources department.
- Supervise
and train staff members in regard to ITIC and the individual office
operations, including appropriate telephone, client and office
etiquette, underwriting procedures, maintenance of files, and
accounting procedures.
- Organize office work to provide same day service.
- Respond to deadlines and report timely to management.
- Understand
underwriting principles and process an acceptable number of policies,
binders and other policy documentation during normal work hours.
- Communicate
in a professional, courteous, pleasant and personal manner with clients
and other employees on the telephone and in personal interactions.
- Strive to achieve income goals established by the Company and manage office operations at optimal levels.
- Understand all Site Administrator duties to include daily, weekly and month-end closing procedures.
2. Maintain awareness of market area
- Communicate with Marketing Manager on daily basis to understand marketing progress and operational implications.
- Maintain
existing relationships with attorneys, mortgage lenders, builders and
realtors, providing information and answering questions.
- Communicate marketing information to staff members.
- Assist Marketing Manager as needed with marketing activities.
3. Perform responsibilities as specified in the Company Wide Risk Management and Compliance Responsibility Summary.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Strong computer skills.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Strong organizational skills.
4. Prior real estate related experience preferred.
5. One (1) to three (3) years of experience supervising other employees.
6. Completion of high school education or equivalent. College degree preferred. | | |
