Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Niles, IL

Responsibilities

• Produce quality products as per specification
• Compliance to cGMP requirements of the department
• Ensure production as per the Schedule
• Maintain discipline among the Technicians and Group Leaders
• Completion of Documentation like Batch Manufacturing records on time
• Achieve desired yield of the batches during Packaging operations
• Ensure the availability of all Resources like materials/ Manpower etc to accomplish scheduled production.
• Optimum utilization of the Packaging materials
• Appropriate communication to Superiors and Peers of other departments on any critical incidents/ occurrences.

• Execute the Production as per the Schedule provided
• Co-ordinate with the Technicians and Packers to achieve the desired Production per schedule
• Ensure the availability of all Packaging materials to start the Production
• Ensure the documentation and Line clearance to facilitate the start of the Line
• Continuous run of the Production and trouble shoot the technical and other operational problems
• Complete all necessary documents on line
• Co-ordinate with QC and Planning departments in case of any issues pertaining to their departments
• Be vigilant on any quality issues and provide remedial solution or to inform to Production Manager or other authorities as appropriate
• Reconciliation of the packaging materials
• Completion and closure of the Batch records
• Organize the clean up of the line and maintain the production departments tidy and clean always

Qualifications:

• Must have four year scientific degree
• Not less than 5 years of experience in the production of Pharmaceutical Formulations
• Adequate Leadership skills to lead a team of about 40 people
• Team worker
• Communication skill
