Job Details:
Provides professional nursing care under supervision of RN for assigned patients according to established standards and practice. The LVN provides direct care to individuals with wounds. Accepts responsibility for delivering components of the plan of care, including wound data collection, reinforcement of treatment regimes and educations as well as performing independent nursing procedures with appropriate orientation and supervision. Participates as a team member of the clinical interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate resources to all internal/external customers. Understands and adheres to the Claifornia Nurase Practice Act, American Nurses Association (ANA)Code of Ethics for Nurses. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows PPH rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and regulatory standards. Carries out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of PPH.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure
Preferred Education: Not Applicable
Minimum Experience: 1 year patient care experience in acute or long term care setting
Preferred Experience: 2+ years related patient care experience
Required Certification: American Heart Association Recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider
Preferred Certification: Not Applicable
Required License: Current CA LVN License
Preferred License: Not Applicable
