Health Systems DIRECTOR OF
CLINICAL INFORMATICS
Full-time BERKSHIRE HEALTH SYSTEMS (BHS) is seeking to
fill the position of Director of Clinical Informatics. The
Director will serve as an IT leader in the development
and implementation of clinical information systems
across the entire BHS continuumincluding acute care,
long term care, and physician practices. The Director will also participate as a co-project
leader for systems implemented specifically for the
purpose of improving efficiency of clinical operations.
The Director will be an advocate in concert with the
Chief Medical Information Officer and the Chief
Information Officer in promoting an integrated electronic
Healthcare Information Systemwithin Berkshire
Health Systems and throughout Berkshire County. The ideal candidate will have management experience
in a healthcare setting, with a Masters Degree in
Nursing or Clinical Informatics or equivalent experience. Minimumof five years experience in a clinical environment
in the coordination and implementation of large
scale information system software required. Experience
in a teaching hospital environment preferred. Must have excellent leadership skills, with strong interpersonal
and communication skills and the ability to
work with all levels in the system.We are looking for
