Linux Application Developlment: Embedded Resource Group

You will develop/design Administration Tools in C/C++, Perl, PHP, and you must be able to at least read/comprehend Java.

Experience - External

* BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline is required.
* Design, develop and maintain complete solutions using custom code, middleware and packaged applications and integrate these into the existing and new operational environments.
* Create technical specifications and build-versus-buy recommendations.
* Design and build utility tools for fault detection and recovery as well as automation of various operational tasks relating to management of database, application and network system configurations.
* Strong understanding and appreciation of good software development processes.
* Excellent knowledge of enterprise level system monitoring and operations (SNMP, IP routing protocols, security systems, hardware/OS tuning and configuration, etc.).
* Excellent knowledge of multiple operating systems and x86 platforms, including Linux and Windows.

* Experience in C/C++ programming and scripting languages like SHELL, Perl, PHP

Experience

* Demonstrated intense experience in systems integration and system administration with the ability to translate that knowledge to system administration tools.
* Experience in developing and managing production systems through multiple application release cycles and infrastructure and product versions.
* Team work ' referenced ability to work well in a team exhibiting a willingness to learn from others and take responsibility for development work.

Preferred experience

* MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

* Java programming experience
