3) General Responsibilities:
· Daily Management of the Branch Managers in their assigned region for all operational areas, production, inventory, employee compliments, budgets, environmental, safety · Responsible for movement of steel and equipment as required · Project review and support coordinating with Corp Projects Manager · Verify compliance of PSM and RMP for each plant coordinating with Safety Manager · Coordinate with Corporate Training Manager on required and necessary training · Approve reviews and/or annual employee increases prior to submission to Human Resources · Review of plant operational budgets and expenses · Coordinate with the Transportation Manager on Driver and Transportation requirements. · Liaison between the branch and corporate · Understanding of transportation regulations regarding: drug/alcohol testing policy, commercial driver’s license, accident reports, driver qualifications, parts and accessories needed for safe operation of the vehicle/tanker, hours of service (log books), inspection, repair and maintenance requirements and shipping of hazardous materials · Work with the sales representative in handling and resolving of customer complaints or problems · Knowledge of environmental regulatory standards and company policy regarding a release of a chemical to the environment and the understanding of waste management requirements related to the storage and disposal of required materials. · Must be HAZWOPER trained: oversee the response to all hazardous material incidents on or off site and properly documenting all responses (includes follow-up notifications, if required). Be prepared to respond yourself.
