Department: Information Technology

Systems Analyst – Hiring Range $50,990.00 – $79,318.00

This position is responsible for analyzing user requirements and specifications to identify problems or trends, bringing new technologies and business methods to the agency, and creating and modifying import/export interfaces between applications.

The selected candidate will possess:

· Strong knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, and Crystal Reports; .NET programming is a plus.

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills for interfacing with internal and external clients, peers, management and cross-functional areas.

· Proven ability to problem solve issues, determine/refine business requirements, suggest alternative approaches, develop design solutions, create technical documentation and coordinate cross-functional projects.

· Demonstrated competency in applying project management skills, including providing estimates and creating/maintaining Project Plans.

· A self-starter who can work independently or as a principal participant on a team and takes the initiative to fulfill job responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related area, supplemented by a minimum of three (3) years previous experience and/or training that includes computer programming, systems analysis, computer operations and hardware/software trouble shooting. Strong knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, and Crystal Reports; Previous maintenance and implementation experience with PeopleSoft, Advantage Financials or large ERP systems is preferred.
