DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lynx Systems is seeking an individual capable of depot level repair, integration & test, modifying and operating complex synthetic aperture radar / ground moving target indicator (SAR/GMTI) and/ or phased array radars, and other airborne sensors in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Applicants must be able to operate specialized test equipment in the performance of troubleshooting and maintaining sensors, both in laboratory and field environments in the qualification and acceptance testing of radars.
  • Applicants must be able to conduct intermediate level field repair of radars.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel to customer operating sites to assist in training and repairs as well as long-term deployments, for extended periods of up to 3 months at a time. Travel may include deployment into protected areas of hostile locations.
  • Applicants must be capable of representing the company to high profile customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree or equivalent. May substitute equivalent experience in the field. Typical minimum experience is five years.
  • Ability and willingness to work under unusual conditions such as high pressure, high energy and high voltage.
  • Must have analytical ability to read and understand detailed instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Communication skills necessary to write and record precise information.
  • Current U.S. Top Secret security clearance required.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Military avionics/electronics experience highly preferred.
