Construction Field Manager (E)

Construction Field Manager will manage field work on multiple health care construction/renovation and remodel projects in the Northern California region. As a Consruction Field Manager you will also provide oversight and accountability for the quality of work, safety and infection controls issues, appropriate contractor/sub-contractor field staffing levels, and contractor pay applications reflecting the percentage of completed work. Additionally you will coordinate all shutdowns, relocations and testing procedures; ensure contract compliance on drawings/specifications; attend all owner/architect/contractor meetings; review all contractor daily reports/project schedules; and notify contractors, in writing, of deficiencies/shortcomings. You must have prior experience in an Owners Rep or Construction Management position; thorough knowledge of applicable healthcare regulatory/safety and construction building codes; and extensive knowledge of life safety standards, applicable industrial safety orders, regulatory requirements/processes and construction building codes. Excellent communication and report writing skills, the ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes also required.
