Job Description:
One full time Psychiatrist at Ft. Riley, KS.
Duties:
Apply psychological principles and techniques to problems of human effectiveness, maladjustment, and psychological disturbances.
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders.
Complete Commander Directed Evaluations, Medical Evaluation Boards, profile changes, and narrative summaries for approval purposes.
Conduct medication and psychotherapy evaluations as well as follow-ups within a clinically indicated time frame.
Requirements:
Must have graduated from an approved medical school and completed a residency or fellowship acceptable to meet MTF requirements.
Must possess a valid unrestricted license to practice psychiatry in one of the 50 states in the United States.
Must possess a medical license and be board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Provider shall have provided services a minimum of 6 months within the past 12 months.
Possess and maintain at all times a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number if applicable.
