Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager: Access Integrated Networks

NOC ManagerWe are seeking an experienced NOC Manager to run the Corporate NOC.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Create a team oriented professional culture and establish processes and procedures that reflect our internal and customer needs in a changing environment Develop effect change management, documentation and service levels to ensure maximum up time during ANY system or software change, test, upgrade, repair or vendor maintenance issue Drive technical staff to monitor and resolve customer issues and accomplish objectives Manage projects through cross-functional teams, interface with other departments and devise effective reporting tools Plan projects, establish objectives, time lines, deliverables and mile stones Assist and advise in the areas of NOC physical planning, security, backup and recovery and the logistics of contingency planning Define requirements for the network management systems, automation and related management tools Training and motivation of staff Possess at least the following education/experience: Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, related Facilities based carrier experienceREQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:Bachelor's in Engineering/Computer Science 4 - 6 years in systems management/administration including at least 2 years managing a live Operations Center Experience with a facilities based carrier Experience implementing and maintaining internal network operations Experience in implementing hardware and operational growth plans including rapidly scaling computational and network bandwidth to handle client growth, continuous process improvements OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge of networking concepts and protocolsAbility to provide both hands on solutions and supervision of projectsAbility to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organizationExcellent Compensation Package:Competitive SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, Short & Long Term Disability, Life InsurancePaid Vacation and Holidays401K PlanEqual Opportunity Employer
