CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER

Job Overview:
The Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for strategic and tactical marketing activities focused on the Company’s Renewal Program for Maps (RPM) program. These activities are focused on driving sales for map updates through utilization of the Company’s relationships and marketing campaigns with automotive dealers and direct to consumer marketing initiatives.
Job Description:
- Lead initiatives targeted at increasing overall update rates and yield of map updates in general
- Define and articulate means to improve yield and conversion rates, including Multi-Year Licensing (MYL), Direct Marketing, Certified PreOwned (CPO), Auto Leasing programs, etc. This requires working with AEs to devise an account by account strategy for increasing RPM program performance.
- Create customer specific presentations to convince automotive companies and system manufacturers about the importance of updated map data and assist Account Executives in presenting these compelling stories to the appropriate automotive companies and system vendors.
- Develop and execute business-to-business and direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns to drive sales of map updates through a variety of marketing channels both online and offline.
- Analyze and report out on marketing program performance, developing ongoing strategy from campaign learnings
- Responsible for financial forecast and financial reporting for specific automotive companies as it relates to RPM.
- Responsible for supporting and understanding CPO and Auto Leasing programs and developing a strategy to use these programs as a means to increase yield. This will require a special focus on residual value issues
- Identify and resolve all infrastructure and internal issues (legal, accounting, finance, COMs, etc) related to RPM programs
- Responsible for leading 1-2 Channel Marketing Specialists to support these initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA Preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Five years experience in marketing (preferably direct marketing) in a fast moving Business-to-Business and or Business-to-Consumer company
- Ideal candidate would have an understanding of the automotive industry and marketing experience dealing with OEM customers’ requirements
- Experience in direct marketing, product management or sales role, preferably technology, software or database-related preferred
- History of working directly with customers on a frequent basis; Ability to create effective presentations, spreadsheets and supporting documentation required.
- Understanding of NTC database specification, development, and release processes is a plus
