Ikaria seeks a highly qualified Sr. Project Analyst for its Clinton, NJ based Corporate Headquarters.
The Sr. Project Analyst will report to the Director, Project Manager.
Scope of Responsibilities
• Successful development and execution of project plans for the R&D pipeline. • Developing scheduling standards for all projects and studies in Microsoft Project. • Attending cross-functional meetings to understand and update changing timelines, make recommendations on how to meet deadlines, and make recommendations on activities that may be at risk that team members are not aware of. • Creating, tracking and forecasting project budgets. Includes collecting information from cross-functional team members. • Tracking and forecasting R&D resources. • Developing standard tools and processes to help project and study team members meet their timelines and deliverables. • Ensuring standards are utilized throughout the organization. • Conducting analyses for study core teams and project teams and providing recommendations on how to decrease cycle times, decrease risks, and decrease costs while delivering on the R&D pipeline. • Developing presentations, analyses, and recommendations for the executives of the organization. • Training the R&D organization on project management best practices. • Maturing the project management capability to better manage the rapid growth of the company. • Working closely with project management, research and development, finance, marketing, and manufacturing on the responsibilities above

| Position Requirements: |
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Minimum BS in science, engineering, or business. • Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience. • Excellent skills in scheduling and cost tracking R&D projects. • Project Management skills. • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical R&D process. • Demonstrated analytical and information technology skills and an understanding of project planning software. • Excellent skills in documenting requirements. • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). • Experience in clinical forecasting. • Strong conceptual and analytic skills. • Prefer strong experience with MS Access and Excel (including VBA). • Ability to conduct analysis, and make recommendations to all levels of the organization. • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to focus for long periods with close attention to detail. • Quantitative skills. • Excellent presentation skills.
