Senior Hardware Sustaining Engineer

Position Description

We are seeking a positive, highly motivated and effective Senior Hardware Sustaining Engineer to join a team responsible for developing the next generation of medical device. The individual will work in a small, fast moving team of research and development engineers.

Duties/Responsibilities

Board level circuit design and development, including RF, digital and analog technologies.

Identify root cause of field issues and make corrective actions to the product

Monitor product yields and take corrective action when necessary

Identify and qualify second source components to keep production going

Create design documentation including schematics, test plans and detailed design specifications.

Execute test protocols and document results.

Qualifications

Positive, motivated, effective team-oriented hardware developer

BSEE or BSCE and 5 years of experience, minimum.

Knowledgeable in digital design and microprocessors. Experience in schematic capture, creating board stackups and supervising board layout. Knowledge of analog design and power supplies. Must have C++ programming language knowledge.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must be an excellent team player and able to work with minimal supervision.

Must know Product side & Software Side Development.
