General Summary: The Clinic Manager is responsible for the operations and activities of the clinic. Leads staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which is sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Ensures compliance with established clinical policies and procedures.
Required: BA/BS Degree (business and/or health care related) and/or 3 - 5 years equivalent work experience which includes a management experience. Valid Oregon Driver's License.· Requires knowledge of health care environment, medical office policies and procedures, general accounting procedures and human resource management practices.· Requires strong written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.· Requires ability to identify and solve problems, make decisions, and implement changes.· Requires ability to establish priorities, organize, and coordinate work activities. · Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with clinic physician leadership and staff physicians to carry out clinic mission, goals and objectives.· Demonstrated knowledge and ability working with Practice Management Systems and Electronic Medical Records.· Willing to accept direction in achievement of organization's objectives.· Management and leadership skills, particularly mentoring, coaching and conflict management.· Ability to work collaboratively with other operational units within Providence Health System.· Ability to adapt work pace and thought process to a constantly changing clinic environment.· Ability to understand the influence and impact of all decisions on each area of the clinic and practice management procedures.· Ability to travel to different locations.
Preferred: Previous clinic management experience.
