Our client a hospital in the Braintree area has asked that we search for a RESPIRATORY CARE MANAGER .
This hospital is a professional, dynamic, patient-first clinical practice setting with motivated professionals dedicated to saving lives, improving health and enhancing well-being.
The Respiratory Care Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the Respiratory Care Department. Responsible for orientating, evaluating, and documenting competency of personnel. Establishes, maintains, and revises departmental policies and procedure to include departmental programs, quality control, performance improvement, and safety. The patient group will be largely infants, children and adolescents with some adult and geriatric care. This individual will supervise the following Respiratory Therapy Tech, Patient Care Technician, RCP, CRT, RRT, Charge Therapist,.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Management, Business or Respiratory Therapy preferred.
Massachusetts License in Respiratory Care
Five years-previous RRT experience in an acute care setting
Three years previous supervisory experience in respiratory therapy
Experience with Infants(NICU),Children, Adolescents very important
Adult and Geriatric experience
