Position Description:
Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Owning application development efforts and working with team members in large system application projects
- Coordinating work efforts among various team members
- Gathering and interpreting business requirements related system application enhancements
- Designing, developing and testing enhancements of reporting applications in adherence to standards and methodology
- Completing production support service requests, troubleshooting issues and batch support to ensure high levels of application availability and accuracy
- Ensuring high reporting application availability and accuracy as well as oversight of customer service requests
- Contributing to a successful team culture

- 5+ years Application Development and/or software implementation experience
- 3+ years SQL experience
- 5+ years experience with Hyperion Essbase application development
- 2+ yrs experience in the data warehouse environment
Asset:
- Experience with documented software methodology and understanding of all stages of software development project life cycle
