JOB Function:

Webpage and graphic design for a Federal client

LABOR CATEGORY: GRAPHICS/WEB DESIGNER

DUTIES: Works independently or only under general supervision to perform any combination of the following: designing and developing web pages involving complex graphics and illustrations for use in technical materials, online manuals, and other online publications; using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools to design and develop user interface features, site animation, and any special effects elements; and enhancing the look and feel of the organization's online offerings. Formulates concept and renders illustration and detail from sketches, memory, written or verbal instructions, and imagination. Selects types, draw lettering, layout material, and determines style, technique, and medium best suited to produce desired effects and conform to reproduction requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least ten (10) years of experience in performing the duties listed above. Five (5) of the ten (10) years must reflect current technologies and techniques and have occurred within the last seven (7) calendar years.

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in graphic arts or design, or in a related field, will be considered the equivalent of five (5) years of experience. Professional training other than that resulting in a degree will be considered the equivalent of three (3) years of experience. Additional education and .other requirements may also be cited in the individual Task Order.

Must Have Skills:

10+ years of Graphics and Web Design

5+ years of HTML editing and ability to manage online content

Bachelors Degree in Graphic Arts/Design or equivalent in professional training/experience.

sharepoint and/or MS Project server

Effective Communicator (oral and written) able to accept constructive criticism and direction from client

.NET Programming Skills.
