Business Development Director
Location: Cary, NC
i3 Pharma Resourcing provides global professional clinical research staffing services to the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. We draw on our deep understanding of clinical trials and the resources of our parent company, UnitedHealth Group, one of the world's largest health care companies, to match the best individual for the unique needs of the job. Once that placement has been made, we continue to provide a high level of ongoing support and personal development. Join us and work with dynamic, leading life sciences companies in developing new business and furthering existing business relationships.
We are currently seeking a Business Development Director.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute a territory sales plan to actively generate new business opportunities
  • Be an aggressive "hunter" of new customers in obtaining job orders for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire vacancies
  • Conduct a high level of face-to-face client / prospect meetings, telephone sales calls, and other revenue generating activities in assigned territory to meet all company and territory financial objectives
  • Identify, qualify and record leads, contact information and notes regarding the new or ongoing development of new or existing client targets
  • Negotiate and execute services agreements with client companies
  • Research and submit RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, MSAs, etc. and all other instruments that would contribute to contractual arrangements to conduct business
  • Build a comprehensive database and network of client and prospect contacts in your territory and collaborate on any global / national accounts with other i3-related companies
  • Increase i3 Pharma Resourcing visibility by joining and participating in local and national industry-related professional organizations
  • Represent i3 Pharma Resourcing at relevant local / national trade shows, seminars, training sessions, etc.
  • May manage / coach other Business Development team members

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Three + years of staffing solutions selling experience and ability to function successfully within a team environment
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated execution of the sales process
  • Proven ability to deliver results against established financial targets
  • Knowledge of the clinical trials research process gained through working for a clinical research staffing company, contract research organization, pharmaceutical / biotech / medical device company, or other related industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
