To provide project management and consultative support to the Network Capabilities Group, which includes Contract Control & Installation (CCI) and Network Data Management (NDM). Job Duties could include the following:
- Support definition of initiatives, tracking of progress, documentation of objectives.
- Manage project groups and meetings independently and report back to leadership
- Process Design & Mapping
- Research & Root Causes for existing problems or gaps
- Coordinate projects across all areas within UHN (including Network Management and NCST)
- Support policy & procedure development
- Support training efforts
- Coordinate and lead efforts for change in process and procedure
Positions in this function are responsible for the successful program design, compliance with network requirements, network assessment and selection, and program/product implementation. This includes enterprise-wide Clinically Integrated Network teams that focus on specific clinical area Lines of Service (e.g., Cardiology, Women's Health, Oncology, etc.) to improve the quality and affordability through improvements in appropriateness and effectiveness. May perform network analysis and strategy development and implementation. Obtains data, verifies validity of data, and analyzes data as required. Analyzes network availability and access. May make recommendations regarding use, expansion, selection of networks for various products based on that analysis.

This position has been posted in support of legal and regulatory compliance initiatives for UHG in California. The goal for the additional staff is to support various defined process improvement efforts and action plans across United Health Networks. The focus of these initiatives is to address existing weaknesses and gaps in existing processes surrounding contract submission & entry, data feeds and reconciliation between NDB and RIMS as well as management of delegated providers and rosters in California. Job responsibilities will depend upon the specific job title but could include actual data entry support, research and root causes support, project management, policy and procedure development, reporting/data analysis and training.

- Business knowledge and system (i.e. RIMS, NICE) platform experience preferred.
- Knowledge of provider data maintenance and contract entry & maintenance preferred.
- Excellent communication skills required including ability to communicate effectively with various levels of leadership
- Project Management skills desired but certificate not required.
- Ability to independently lead department projects and efforts required.
- Must be skilled in all microsoft products including WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint, Project.
- Familiarity with ACCESS is a plus.
