Job Summary
Exciting opportunity for a Senior OT here at UNC Health Care, the OT will provide expert patient care to in-patients and outpatients with schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, psychotic disorders, and other psychiatric diagnoses You will be working closely with an experienced group of occupational and physical therapy staff within the Psychiatry and Rehabilitation team.
- A person in this senior position will enjoy strong professional relationships, and working with innovative team players from a variety of disciplines.
- Good leadership skills are essential to coordinate patient care and caseloads, develop programs
- Coordinate STEP program (Schizophrenia Treatment and Evaluation Program)
- Represent the team within the department’s clinical education committee, and provide student supervision.
Job Requirements
- Requires licensure as an occupational therapist in the state of North Carolina
- Two years of occupational therapy experience including one year in the specialty field of work to which assigned; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
