Sr. Clinical Trial Leader (Cardio): Successful & Growing Central NJ Pharma, Total Comp to $145k: Cornerstone Search Group, LLC

Summary: A highly visible and wide-ranging position within cardiovascular clinical development. Our client, a Top 20 pharmaceutical company with multiple marketed products and a very strong pipeline, is looking for an experienced clinical research professional to lead multiple cardio studies and report directly into the Director of the group. This is a challenging and professionally rewarding role, and this person will have key responsibilities across clinical development and clinical operations. This company is conveniently located in Central NJ, and there is a direct train line from Philadelphia to company’s location.

Location: Piscataway, NJ Metro Area

Compensation: Total compensation (base + bonus) could go up to the $145k range, and will vary depending upon the depth and quality of relevant experience gained working in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Compensation package will include a competitive base salary, annual bonus, strong 401(k), vacation, pension plan, tuition reimbursement, etc.

Responsibilities:

In a nutshell, you will be developing the study plans and managing the clinical development and operational aspects of multiple phase II/III cardiovascular clinical studies. Responsibilities will include supporting the preparation of Clinical Development Plans, managing the completion of CRFs and other study related documents, preparing drafts of Clinical Trial Protocols, Clinical Trial Reports, and sections of Briefing Documents and INDs/clinical sections of NDAs, managing CROs, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is required. MS, MPH, or PhD is highly preferred.
• At least 8 years in clinical research and development in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO.
• Complete knowledge of GCP, FDA, CFRs and ICH guidelines, as well as working knowledge of the components and key content requirements of IND & NDAs.
