The Loss Prevention District Manager reports to the Vice President of Finance and is responsible for protecting the assets within their district, conducting internal investigations, external theft and fraud investigations, training of all new hire loss prevention associates in their respective areas of responsibility. In addition, the District Manager will be responsible for recruiting and hiring of new associates as needed.

The district manager responsibilities include:

· Ensure Compliance to Operations Procedures within each building.

· Reviewing reports to identify potential fraudulent or theft activity.

· Develop cases to be completed at the store level to recover losses and prosecute those associates involved in internal theft.

· Develop resources at the store level to help identify potential internal theft cases and use the CCTV system and interviews to develop cases and prosecute.

· Conduct routine Store Safety Checks to ensure compliance to the Company’s Safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for associates and customers.

The district loss prevention manager will insure that all loss prevention new hire associates are trained in accordance with the loss prevention requirements, including operations training, loss prevention operations training, and certification for making apprehensions. The corporate investigations and training managers responsible for the successful completion of the all training required of new hires.

The district loss prevention manager will work with store managers and store district managers to insure that all policies and procedures relating to loss prevention and shrinkage reduction is kept at acceptable levels, and periodically review the performance of all loss prevention personnel. Store awareness programs, new hire orientation for non loss prevention associates and management will be completed on a recurring basis.
