Field Technician - With ACI Certifications: Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc.

Universal Engineering Sciences, a 40-year old, ENR top 500 company which specializes in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and environmental services has an opening for a Field Technician for project in Louisiana. Will consider local or nonlocal candidates. Nonlocal employee's apartment expenses will be covered by UES. UES employees will share an apartment with another UES employee.

JOB SUMMARY:

· Performs construction materials field testing duties for concrete, soils, and other construction materials.

· Report Data in a complete, timely and understandable fashion.

· Ensure that all test equipment is functioning properly, maintained as required.

· Maintain company vehicle (routine maintenance including oil changes, tire pressure, fluid levels, outside upkeep).

· Cellular phones are to be worn at all times and calls are to be returned immediately.

· Attend all Technician meetings.

· Turn in paperwork everyday attached to work order.

· Follow all company safety procedures and policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of 2 years concrete testing experience.
- ACI Field Aggregate Testing Technician
- ACI Laboratory Aggregate Testing Technician

- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I

· Must be available to work overtime hours as needed.

· Valid Drivers License - Good driving record.

· Must pass drug and background checks
