Director of Engineering (Mobile Apps)

You can help create and support exciting new products and services for our growing portfolio of brands including YELLOWPAGES.COM, the most preferred Internet Yellow Pages in the U.S., Plusmo, AnyWho and Keen. We also develop the technology behind Ingenio Pay Per Call. AT&T Interactive is a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T.

Plusmo / AT&T Interactive is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our mobile team. You will have the opportunity to work on several leading mobile platforms including iPhone, Android, J2ME, Blackberry and more. Help build and direct a team of Software engineers in developing and shipping mobile software running on a variety of devices.
Responsibilities:
  • Director of Engineering (Mobile Apps), reporting to VP of Products
  • Responsible for building and mentoring the Mobile Apps Engineering Team
  • In Charge of the Overall Plan and Direction for Mobile App Development
  • Works with Product Management, QA, and UED to deliver high quality software
  • Responsibilities include project scheduling and performance management
Qualifications:
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent).
  • Extensive Experience in Software Development and Lifecycles
  • Familiarity with the latest Mobile Development Tools and Frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across product groups
  • Working knowledge of Web standards including XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, SVG.
  • 10+ Years Experience with 4+ Managing Employees (or equivalent)
