  • Excellent medical device implant and instrumentation design capabilities
  • Projects will include new implant and instrumentation systems as well as enhancements to current products
  • Strong competencies in CAD modeling/drafting (prefereably with SolidWorks), project management, product verification/validation, medical device design controls & communication/presentation skills
  • BSME or equivalent
  • 5+ yrs. spine experience
  • Design for manufacturing proficiency & good working knowledge of surgical instrument design
  • Ability to effectively interact & communicate with surgeons and/or staff
  • Working knowledge and practical application of FDA, QSRs, design control SOPs, verification and validation testing
  • Experience w/FEA analysis and optionally brittle material fracture mechanics
