Are you interested in making a difference in the life of a child or adolescent? Join us in turning hurt into hope for the 1,200 plus children and families we help every year. Inner Harbour specializes in treating children and adolescents with significant psychiatric illness and impairment in behavioral, cognitive, emotional, familial, and/or social functioning. Our RN's and LPN's work closly with our treatment teams to ensure our youth receive the best possible care to help them succeed. Basic duties include providing basic nursing care to patients in assigned program, and assist other programs in emergency situations.

Inner Harbour employees are both encouraged and challenged to participate in the extensive professional development opportunities available to them. Employment begins with an intensive orientation curriculum and continues with on-going education and training, provided by both in-house experts and consultants in the field. Professional Workshops and Certification Programs are also available to our staff.

Requirements

Graduate from accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a professional nurse in the State of Georgia. Requires a minimum of 1 year nursing experience. Prefer a minimum of one year experience in psychiatric mental health.


Physical Requirements:




  • Ability to traverse campus
  • Ability to complete TCI and all other trainings
  • Ability to work rotating shifts/days of week


Work is ambulant and sedentary. Occasional physical exertion (lifting 20 lbs. or more, walking, standing, etc.) to support patient weight in case of emergency situation. Must be able to stoop, stand, bend and reach. Necessary stamina and temperament to work with challenging youth
