ASSISTANT - RETAIL SALES OPERATIONS
If you're the person who knows where every item is, what it does, and how much it costs - and you notice even small things that are out of place or incorrect... then you're a Retail Sales Operations Assistant. You just don't know it, yet. As a member of the Verizon Wireless retail team, you'll keep dozens of products organized and easy to find, be proactive about replenishing stock, know every price, stay on top of exchanges, and handle all of the activities of a very fast-paced back office. This is a great opportunity to use your unique organizational abilities, learn all about our products and services, and achieve career success in our dynamic organization.
Day to day
Today, you might be gearing up for next week's promotion of a hot, new phone by checking current supplies and ordering extra inventory. Next week, you'll be processing product exchanges or checking prices on the sales floor. And, you might spend an afternoon learning about our newest products, reconciling cash, or even helping a customer with an equipment upgrade or payment transaction. You'll love the pace and the variety of this job.
Qualifications:
You'll need a year of related experience - maybe in inventory management, administration support or finance - and although we don't require it, some college background is a plus. Most of all, you need GREAT organizational skills, PC know-how (especially with inventory and POS software), and the ability to work well with the rest of the retail team and handle customer issues in a way that creates a positive customer experience. You're the link between a vast national company and an individual store. You fuel the engine of Verizon Wireless.
