Business Planning Analyst - RGM - (Job Number: HV-0102-20091021) Description The Analyst of Competitive & Strategic Analysis provides analytical and technical support for complex, externally focused analytical projects whose findings and recommendations directly influence the strategic direction of Coca-Cola Enterprises North America.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Analytical and technical support for the development of CCE's North America Multi-year Business Plan including 3 year category and channel projections
· Conduct research and provide analytical support to assess broad Industry, Competitive, or Strategic issues directly impacting the business
· Provide research and analytical support for the development of Board of Director communications (e.g. Quarterly Board meetings and monthly Board newsletters)
· Own creation and distribution of monthly competitive reporting and industry newsletters to provide insights and knowledge of external market factors and competitor actions
· Serve as a team member for cross functional projects providing analytical support on key strategic initiatives
· Assist with general team analysis on both a regular basis and on adhoc projects
Qualifications Competitive candidates will have:
· Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Engineering, or other analytical discipline. MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus
· 2-3 years financial or consumer analytics experience . Exposure to the food/CPG industries and/or specific experience in pricing or business planning is a plus
· Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills with ability to express and simplify complex ideas
· Excellent spoken and written communication skills
· Ability to organize work and balance priorities
· Strong work ethic and detail/quality orientation
· Expertise in standard analytic software (advanced Excel required, Access strongly preferred)
· Experience with or aptitude to quickly learn industry/company specific tools including AC Nielsen, Margin Minder, OLAP, and Analytical Sales Reporting Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
