Patient Account Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Patient Account Representatives work in an office or onsite at a contracted facility performing the follow-up work with uninsured patients on their public assistance (Medicaid/charity) programs. Patients will be screened to determine eligibility of government assistant and/or charity programs. We work as a liaison between the patients and state/Federal agencies to secure medical assistance program eligibility.

**The schedule is Monday - Friday 8-4:30pm**

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent customer service skills required
• Social service experience is a plus
• Bilingual skills are preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Degree is preferred but is not required
• Medicaid eligibility process background is an added bonus
• Valid drivers license required
