We are recruiting a top-performing Sales Manager for a leading producer of specialty products. Our client offers a solid history, impressive holdings, and is the world’s leading producer of its specialty products.

Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will manage commercial sales and service for existing and potential customers in North and South America to reach business objectives. As a key member of the business team, the Sales Manager will be responsible for customer account and sales agent management, contract negotiations and administration, sales and technical service, credit management, complaint resolution, product development and market analysis.

Requirements:

  1. BS Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  2. MBA preferred. Spanish Language Fluency preferred.
  3. 5+ years experience in commercial sales of industrial intermediates - absorbent materials including pulp and paper, nonwovens, chemicals, adhesives, or plastics.
  4. Proven success in commercial marketing and sales methods, contract negotiations, and relationship management.
  5. Proven customer focus with initiative and ability to build strategic relationships.
  6. Proven leadership skills with a track record of successful interaction with customers, purchasing professionals, and plant and executive level members.
  7. Professional, articulate, with demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications.
  8. Proven ability to work in a self-directed role with a high sense of urgency.
  9. Solid, stable career track with progressive responsibilities.
  10. Ability to travel at least 30%.
