Patient First is currently seeking Radiologic Technologists for positions in the Richmond , Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland area.
The responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Obtaining quality diagnostic x-rays using correct position and radiation exposure and proper labeling of films and jackets
-Implementing safety procedures for patients, self and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation
-Understanding the x-ray and processing equipment so that it will be used in the proper fashion
-Maintaining x-ray files and records of all patients requiring x-rays
The qualified applicant will:
-be at least 18 years of age;
-have graduated high school or obtained a GED;
-have graduated from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, B.S, Diploma, Associated or Limited License program;
-be Registered or Registry eligible though the ARRT; and
-Licensed or eligible for Licensure though the State.
This position offers flexible hours for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions. New graduates are welcome.
