Summary of position:

At the direction of and in cooperation with the CIO/Vice President of IT, develops, plans, and implements the overall strategic goals of the corporate network systems, including all data and voice networked and telecommunications systems. Leads a teams of Administrators and Technicians in support of the daily operations of the Technical Services Group.

Minimum Education/Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a closely related field or equivalent work experience.

2. Minimum of 8 years experience in a managerial or supervisory role in an IT environment.

3. Must have at least 5 years experience supporting Microsoft Windows clients.

4. Experience with Windows network environment including Windows clients and servers and Cisco Switches required.

5. Experience with wiring schemas including fiber optic is required.

6. Knowledge of email server administration required, preference given to Microsoft Exchange.

7. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsfot Office.

8. Previous customer service experience required.

9. Previous experience providing IT support required.

10. Must demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with senior management and executives.

11. Microsoft MCSE certification preferred.

12. Professional certification in telecommunications preferred. IBM iSeries (AS/400) Technical Certification preferred.

13. PMP Project Management Certification from PMS is preferred.

14. Previous experience working in a casino is preferred.

15. Experience with PBX and Voicemail sustems is preferred.

16. Experience supporting an IBM iSerios (AS/400) environment is preferred.

17. Experience with IBM Iseries (AS/400) environment, commands, and utilities is preferred.
