Licensed Insurance Acct Manager



Our client in Plano is seeking a Licensed Professional Account Manager to service assigned group and individual life, health and benefit accounts.

Provide assistance to the Producer/Account Executive as may be required on all business.
Analyze data and provide professional advice and guidance to life, health and benefit clients regarding their insurance programs.

Essential duties:
* Analyze carrier proposals and negotiate terms with markets on all renewals.
* Manage clients' insurance policies to include marketing renewals and presentations.
* Handle 100% of renewal activity for life, health and group benefits.
* Manage prospect marketing and presentations.
* Daily interaction with clients, prospects and insurance companies. Conduct client visits and attend underwriting meetings.

Skills/ Requirements

Provide excellent customer service
Assist the Benefits Producer in all matters necessary.
Participate in training to enhance knowledge and skills.
Inform supervisor and/or manager of all matters that may affect the performance of assigned tasks and operations of the department.
Perform other duties as required.
Some travel may be required.

Important Notes

5+ years experience needed

Knowledge of HIPPA, COBRA and other federal laws pertaining to group benefit insurance.

Resident General Lines Agent License- Life, Accident, Health and HMO
