We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Data Specialist to join our Marketing team. This position will be responsible for lead management, data entry and data integrity for the main customer database in addition to data extraction, lists and/or lead generation from the database and providing support for evaluating the overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Specifically this position will have the following responsibilities:

§ Data entry of new leads as well as maintenance of existing customers in a marketing database

§ Resolve all new registrations to the company’s web sites, ensuring no duplicate records exist and data is accurate

§ Research and resolve all returned mail, address changes and unsubscribe requests and update customers records

§ Fulfill all associated requests for information by mailing appropriate marketing materials in response to customer requests and inquiries

§ Responsible for the list selection for all direct marketing campaigns in all channels

§ Proficiency in understanding the structure and design of the customer database to support all marketing campaigns by selecting the proper lists or creating specific reports

§ Continual improvement and documentation of data management and analysis methodologies

§ Proactively manage the integrity of the client database by researching data integrity issues and resolving inconsistencies

§ Other duties as assigned

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience with analytical database marketing, or equivalent

§ Experience with queries, spreadsheets, database applications, and Microsoft Office products

§ Demonstrated superior analytical skills and excellent attention to detail

§ Ability to work effectively in a team environment

§ Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated effective organizational skills

§ Ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines and interact with individuals at all levels within the organization

§ Ability to work independently, using initiative to overcome obstacles and complete tasks within allotted time
