Job detail

Job duties/Summary:

Manage Field Service and support personnel for light commercial and residential HVAC service department.

Skills needed:

  • Very technically strong to be able to coach and answer technical questions for team.
  • Not afraid of change.
  • Willing to think out of the box to help build current base and expand Service business.
  • Team builder mentality.
  • Capable to manage a field service force of 40-50 employees.
  • 10-15 years of Field Service Management experience.
  • Able to get most out of employees using modern management techniques. (Not a dictator.)
  • Must be motivated to do the “right thing” and build customer loyalty through quality service.
    • Must have ability to develop standard operating procedures to assure that all employees are acting according to company goals.
    • Must have proven record of growing a Service department and be able to communicate the steps taken to do so.

Education requirements: Open, but prefers strong Technical training. Professional Business training is highly desirable.

Knockouts: Not hire person with more than 2 jobs in past 9 years.
