Operations/Forms Consultant - International Implementations Team (211290-618)
Open Solutions Inc. has a full suite of software products and services designed to allow banks, thrifts and credit unions to better compete in today’s aggressive financial services marketplace, and expand and tap their trusted financial relationships, client affinity, community presence and personalized service.
We seek an Operations Forms Consultant with the International Implementations group in our Glastonbury CT headquarters.
In this role you will:
- Assist clients with training and workflow assessments to ensure all aspects of the institution's processing are easily transitioned to the new Open Solutions system.
- Consult with clients and provide recommendations as needed
- Define, with the client institution, the parameter and system settings (including security authorizations, branch/dept setup, cashbox assignments, employee setup, and statement / notice setup & processing)
- Set up, train, and monitor batch and/or nightly processing routines at Open Solutions and at the client site
- Establish daily, weekly and month-end processing schedules
- Diagnose and recommend solutions to issues
- Recommend changes or alternative work-arounds where needed
- Perform other related projects and duties as assigned.
- Set up OSI and vendor forms for upcoming conversions using Jet form design software
- Update and testsvendor forms
- Create custom forms and checks
- Ensure Nexus software is properly functioning for converting clients
- Create transaction forms including receipts, validations, passbooks, and passbook covers
- Provide forms and printing training via web and classroom to both existing and implementing clients.
- Performs other duties as assigned
To qualify for this position, you must have:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Business or equivalent experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least five years of previous retail banking experience
- Experience with Access and SQL database retrieval
- Training experience (very helpful)
- Conversion and workflow analysis experience
- A willingness to travel 75% of the time with extended stays of up to three weeks in various countries
- Knowledge of any foreign languages preferred
- Pprevious international business or travel experience preferred
- The ability to work under deadlines, and be detail-oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
