Entry Level Sales Associate:
Company Description:
NASDAQ listed company and a leading IP-based services provider sells integrated packages of communications and IT services to small and mid sized businesses throughout the United States . This position is an outside sales position selling these telecom services directly to business owners. Sales associates provide Cisco Systems and Blackberry technology to emerging markets with an increasing demand for these tech products.
This is a great sales position for entry level candidates, with a paid sales training program, sales support and offering sales management potential within two years.
Sales associates offer a product range of more than 20 productivity-enhancing applications including:
· local and long-distance voice services
· broadband Internet
· mobile and BlackBerry services
· broadband laptop access
· voicemail, email, web hosting, fax-to-email
· data backup, file sharing and virtual private networking.
Sales reps can assure customers that this company manages these services over a private, 100% Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) facilities-based network.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Sales reps are responsible for the direct sales of communications products to small to mid-sized businesses.
· Work with Sales Team and Sales Activity Manager to promote and sell products.
· Participate in a structured sales model and work to attract and develop new business.
· Participate in branch sales training and promotional efforts to improve sales skill set.
· Participate in outside sales, B2B cold calling, phone prospecting, and face to face sales presentations.
· Manage localized sales territory. Sales reps must attend sales networking events and create referral partners to generate a referral network.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· A strong competitive drive, self motivation and exceptional work ethic.
· Sales reps must have the self-discipline to work without a lot of direct supervision.
· Good organizational and time management skills
· Sales reps must be ethical in dealings with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
· A valid state driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
· College degree desired
