Linens 'N Things, with over 560 superstores, is one of the largest linens and home furnishings specialty retailer's in the U.S. and Canada. We are currently interviewing to fill a Group Sales Manager (Dept. Mgr.)Position in our Santa Maria, CA Store Location.

Job Description:
The Group Selling Manager (GSM) position is a first line management and working supervisory position. GSMs are responsible for assisting the Assistant Store Managers and General Manager in establishing and maintaining guest service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding departmental standards, and solid product knowledge.


Job Requirements:
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

* 1-2 years supervisory or management experience with a successful retailer
* Exceptional Guest Service Skills
* Enthusiastic, energetic personality
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Results oriented, with strong leadership and decision making capabilities
* Strong merchandising and operational skills
* Ability to demonstrate positive results
