We have an immediate opening for an energetic, passionate, & experienced full time professional to join our Finance team as a Staff Accountant.

This mid-level position is responsible for completion of General Ledger account reconciliation and assist in closing of the books on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. You are responsible for the sales audit function for the company – bank account reconciliations, filing and maintaining of all key documents. You will also be expected to create, analyze and provide organization reporting, analysis, and data management.

Responsibilities include:

• Collect, consolidate, analyze, report & verify journal/accrual entries
• Prepare month-end journal entries and complete monthly account reconciliations.
• Reconcile credit card activity, track chargeback expenses, monitor discount & interchange fee.
• Produce month-end usage reports, liaison with stores on core inventory, accuracy of captured transactions, balance sheet reporting
• Complete daily cash management of all store deposits. Sweep cash from accounts, maximize cash usages and credits.
• Forecast/plan cash needs for company
• Perform bank statement reconciliations, audit daily bank deposits.
• Verify transfer of data between POS-Sales Audit-General Ledger
• Allocate, track, analyze & report store payroll hours. Perform trend analysis, make recommendations for improvement. Complete store performance tracking, reporting & analysis using Excel and other data management software.
